I have a game where you get an egg then at a random 5 to 6 thousand steps the egg hatches. I am using a common event conditional branch to notify the player, but it won't work. I walk around and I have a event to tell me what the "Secret" number is then I get to that number and the message doesn't appear and nothing happens.
After the egg hatches I want it to level up to a certain level and then evolve into a stronger form and then evolve again and again until it's 5th or 6th transformation. I don't know how to get this to work without lagging my game down. Also I cannot figure out how to make a scene for the whole evolution process to visually take place. I want it to show up right next to or on the status screen, but I use LeGaCy's CMS so I don't know what I am going to do.
Please help. I have looked all over the net and am at a loss. I have tried on other parts of the forums to see ifanyone has seen anything like it and they haven't except the pokemon evolution script that I can't seem to pick apart enough to use for my simple process. I just wanted you all to know that asking for help was my last resort. Any help is appreciated.
