Avana 100 mg contains Avanafil, a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED), and it works by increasing blood flow to the penis to help achieve and maintain an erection. It is one of several medications in the PDE5 inhibitor class, which also includes Sildenafil (Viagra), Tadalafil (Cialis), and Vardenafil (Levitra). Typically works faster than other ED medications, often within 15-30 minutes of ingestion. This makes it one of the fastest-acting medications for ED. Takes about 30-60 minutes to start working. Takes about 30 minutes to 2 hours to become effective but has a much longer duration of action (up to 36 hours). Similar to Sildenafil in onset, typically 30-60 minutes. Avana 100 mg effects last for up to 6 hours, making it shorter in duration compared to Tadalafil but similar to Sildenafil and Vardenafil. Generally has a milder side effect profile compared to Sildenafil and Vardenafil. Common side effects can include headache, flushing, nasal congestion, or back pain, but it's generally better tolerated. Its fast onset makes it a more convenient option for people who want a medication that works quickly, and it can be used on demand.
