Tadalista 10 mg (tadalafil) can generally be used by some people with controlled hypertension, provided their doctor confirms it is safe. It treats erectile dysfunction by increasing blood flow to the penis, but it can also lower blood pressure slightly. DailyMed +1 How it affects people with high blood pressure Controlled hypertension: Often compatible with tadalafil when prescribed appropriately. Blood pressure medicines: Tadalafil may cause an additional, usually modest, blood-pressure drop when taken with common medicines such as amlodipine, enalapril or metoprolol. Alpha-blockers: Medicines such as doxazosin, terazosin and Tadalista 10 mg can increase the risk of dizziness or fainting when combined with tadalafil. Uncontrolled hypertension or heart disease: A medical assessment is important before using it. Important safety precautions Never combine tadalafil with nitrates, such as nitroglycerin or isosorbide, or recreational nitrites (“poppers”). The combination can cause a dangerous fall in blood pressure. Avoid excessive alcohol, which can worsen dizziness and low blood pressure. Do not stop or change your blood pressure medication to take tadalafil. Seek emergency care for chest pain, fainting or severe weakness after taking it. If you develop chest pain, tell emergency personnel that you took tadalafil and when; do not take nitroglycerin yourself. Tadalafil's blood-pressure effects and interactions are described in the official prescribing information.
