Cenforce 50 mg contains Sildenafil Citrate, the same active ingredient found in Viagra. It is primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) by increasing blood flow to the penis. Like all medications, Cenforce 50 mg can cause side effects, although not everyone will experience them. Common Side Effects of Cenforce 50 mg: Headaches: One of the most common side effects of Sildenafil Citrate is a headache. This is usually mild and can be managed with over-the-counter pain relievers. Flushing: Many users report flushed skin, especially in the face, neck, or chest. This is a result of the medication's effect on blood vessels, causing them to expand (dilate). Dizziness: Some people may feel lightheaded or dizzy after taking Cenforce, especially if they stand up quickly or after consuming alcohol. This may be related to the temporary lowering of blood pressure. Indigestion (Dyspepsia): Heartburn, nausea, or a feeling of discomfort in the stomach is a common side effect due to the relaxation of muscles in the gastrointestinal tract. Nasal Congestion: A stuffy or runny nose can occur because Sildenafil Cenforce 50 mg affect the blood vessels in the nasal passages, leading to congestion. Blurred Vision or Changes in Color Perception: Some individuals experience temporary vision changes, such as a blue tint to vision or blurred vision. This side effect is usually mild and temporary. Back Pain: A small number of users report muscle aches or back pain, which is typically not severe and may go away on its own. Rash: A rash or skin irritation may occur in some individuals, though it is less common. Serious Side Effects (Less Common, but Require Immediate Medical Attention): Although rare, some more serious side effects may occur, and you should seek immediate medical attention if any of the following happen: Priapism (Prolonged Erection): A painful erection lasting more than 4 hours can occur. This is a medical emergency and requires immediate treatment to prevent permanent damage to the penis. Chest Pain or Pressure: If you experience chest pain, pressure, or an unusual feeling in your chest, seek emergency medical care immediately. This could indicate a heart problem. Sudden Vision Loss: In rare cases, sudden vision loss in one or both eyes has been reported.
