Sildisoft Tablets contain sildenafil, a medication commonly used for erectile dysfunction. Grapefruit (and grapefruit juice) can interfere with how sildenafil is metabolized in your body because both affect an enzyme in the liver called CYP3A4. Here’s what happens: CYP3A4 inhibition: Grapefruit inhibits this enzyme, which normally breaks down sildenafil. Higher drug levels: If you take sildenafil with grapefruit, the Sildisoft Tablets of drug in your bloodstream can increase. Increased risk of side effects: This can lead to headaches, dizziness, flushing, low blood pressure, or even more serious effects on the heart. Key guidance: Avoid grapefruit or grapefruit juice within 24–48 hours before and after taking Sildisoft. Even occasional consumption can unpredictably raise sildenafil levels. Other citrus fruits like oranges or tangerines generally do not have the same effect, but check with your doctor or pharmacist.  you regularly consume grapefruit, let your doctor know—they may adjust your dose or suggest an alternative.
