Which Supplements Should Be Avoided With Avana 50 Mg?

With Avana 50 mg (avanafil), certain supplements and products should be avoided or used cautiously because they can worsen side effects or interact with the medicine’s effect on blood pressure and blood flow. Avanafil already lowers blood pressure and affects heart‑related circulation, so anything that adds to that effect or interferes with its breakdown in the body is best avoided.

You should avoid or minimize:

Grapefruit or grapefruit juice, because it can increase avanafil levels in the blood and raise the risk of dizziness, low blood pressure, or prolonged side effects.

Alcohol-containing supplements or “energy” or “male‑enhancement” mixes with high alcohol content, as alcohol can amplify dizziness, flushing, and low blood pressure when combined with Avana 50 mg.

Be cautious with herbal ED or “circulation‑boosting” supplements such as:

L‑arginine or high‑dose nitric‑oxide boosters, which can drop blood pressure more.

Strong vasodilator herbs (for example, high‑dose red ginseng, Tribulus, or yohimbine‑containing products), which can add to the blood‑pressure‑lowering effect and may not be safe if you already have heart disease or are on antihypertensives.

Before adding any new supplement—especially for heart, circulation, or sexual performance—review it with your doctor when you are taking Avana 50 mg, so they can ensure it will not increase your risk of dizziness, fainting, chest pain, or drug interactions.
