Vidalista 2.5 mg contains tadalafil, a PDE5 inhibitor used mainly for erectile dysfunction and sometimes for benign prostatic hyperplasia. Although it is a low daily dose, it can still produce side effects that occasionally affect vision due to its action on blood vessels and related enzymes in the eye.

The most commonly reported vision-related symptom is mild blurred vision. This occurs because PDE5 inhibitors can slightly alter blood flow in ocular tissues and affect retinal signaling pathways. Some users may also experience temporary difficulty focusing or increased sensitivity to light.

A less common but notable symptom is a blue-tinted or altered color perception, known as chromatopsia. This happens because tadalafil can weakly inhibit another enzyme, PDE6, which is present in the retina and involved in color vision processing.

In rare cases, individuals may report eye discomfort, dryness, or redness. These symptoms are usually mild and temporary. Even more rarely, serious conditions such as sudden vision loss may occur due to non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION), although this is extremely uncommon and typically associated with pre-existing risk factors like diabetes, hypertension, or cardiovascular disease.

If any sudden or persistent vision changes occur while taking Vidalista 2.5 mg, it is important to stop the medication and seek immediate medical attention. A healthcare professional can evaluate whether the symptoms are related to the drug or another underlying condition.

Overall, vision-related side effects are uncommon at the 2.5 mg dose, but awareness and prompt reporting of symptoms are important for safe use.
