Vidalista 2.5 mg (tadalafil) must not be taken with nitrate medicines. Even at this low dose, tadalafil can interact dangerously with nitrates and cause a sudden, severe drop in blood pressure. Why is the combination dangerous? Both medicines widen blood vessels, but they do so through different mechanisms. Together, they can lower blood pressure excessively, potentially causing: Severe dizziness or fainting Dangerous hypotension (low blood pressure) Reduced blood flow to vital organs Collapse or shock in severe Vidalista 2.5 mg Nitrates include nitroglycerin (glyceryl trinitrate), isosorbide mononitrate and isosorbide dinitrate. Recreational nitrites, sometimes called “poppers,” should also be avoided. How long must you wait? Official prescribing information states that nitrates should not be administered within 48 hours of the last tadalafil dose. Even after 48 hours, if nitrates are medically necessary, they should only be considered by medical professionals under close monitoring. DailyMed +1 If you have taken Vidalista 2.5 mg and develop chest pain, seek emergency medical care. Do not take nitroglycerin yourself, and tell emergency personnel when you last took tadalafil. Are you currently taking a nitrate medicine for a heart condition, or are you asking because you might need nitroglycerin after taking .
