Filitra contains vardenafil, a medicine used for erectile dysfunction (ED). It can be unsafe to use in certain situations, especially because it can lower blood pressure and affect the cardiovascular system. Avoid Filitra or get medical advice before using it if you: Take nitrate medicines for chest pain (such as nitroglycerin) or use nitric oxide donor medicines — the combination can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Take riociguat or similar guanylate cyclase stimulator medicines. Have a serious heart condition where Filitra activity itself is not considered safe. Have had certain recent serious cardiovascular events (for example, a recent heart attack or stroke) and have not been cleared by a doctor. Have severe liver disease or are on kidney dialysis. Take alpha-blockers or multiple blood-pressure-lowering medicines, because blood pressure may fall too much. Have a condition that increases the risk of a prolonged erection (priapism), such as some blood disorders or certain penile conditions. Seek urgent medical help if after taking it you get: An erection lasting more than 4 hours Sudden vision loss Sudden hearing loss Chest pain, fainting, or severe dizziness If you tell me your age, other medicines you take (especially heart/BP medicines), and Filitra strength (10/20/40 mg), I can help check for common safety concerns.
