Fildena CT 100 is a medication containing sildenafil citrate 100 mg, used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult men. “CT” generally refers to a chewable-tablet formulation. Doctors may prescribe sildenafil when a man has difficulty achieving or maintaining an erection firm enough for sexual activity. Common reasons for prescribing it Erectile dysfunction: Difficulty getting or maintaining an erection. Persistent erection difficulties: When ED repeatedly affects sexual activity. ED associated with certain health conditions: For example, diabetes or high blood pressure, following medical assessment. Insufficient response to Fildena CT 100 lower dose: A doctor may consider adjusting the dose if a lower dose is ineffective and well tolerated. How does it work? Sildenafil increases blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. It typically begins working within 30–60 minutes, although individual responses vary. It does not increase sexual desire, and sexual stimulation is necessary. Important safety information 100 mg is the maximum commonly recommended sildenafil dose for ED in 24 hours, not the appropriate starting dose for everyone. Do not take it with nitrate medicines, such as nitroglycerin, or recreational nitrites (“poppers”), because blood pressure can drop dangerously. Do not combine it with other ED medicines, such as tadalafil or vardenafil, without medical advice. Possible side effects include headache, flushing, indigestion, nasal congestion, and dizziness. Seek emergency medical care for an erection lasting more than four hours, sudden vision or hearing loss, or chest pain. Important: Fildena CT 100 should be used under medical supervision. A healthcare professional can determine whether 100 mg is appropriate based on your health, current medications, and response to treatment.
