I run a small business here in Brisbane, and I’ve finally come to the realisation that I really need to stop doing the books myself. It's taking up too much time, and I'm starting to worry about accuracy and compliance, especially around BAS and payroll.

I’m now looking for affordable bookkeepers in Brisbane for small business – someone reliable, with small business experience, and preferably flexible with pricing. I’m not after a huge firm, just someone professional who gets the job done without breaking the bank.

Ideally, I’d love to find someone who is:

·         Xero-certified (I’m using Xero for everything now – still learning it but love the interface)

·         BAS-registered, so they can handle BAS and GST stuff properly

·         Good with communication and able to explain things in plain English

·         Flexible with weekly/monthly packages depending on what I need

·         Familiar with small business setups, maybe even home-based or service-based businesses
