Most​‍​‌‍​‍‌ tools do not work with legacy versions, but a few still support them. When​‍​‌‍​‍‌ it came to moving contacts from an old Lotus Notes 3.0 environment, I decided to go with GainTools NSF Contacts Converter, which was very quick in processing the files. A really good tool, it is a perfect NSF to VCF converter, which makes it possible for the user to export Lotus Notes contacts to vCard even from the ancient database structures like 2.1, 3.0, and 4.0. ​‍​‌‍​‍ The resulting vCard files were perfect when used on Windows as well as on macOS. It is particularly great for enterprises that are going to discontinue the use of old Lotus environments and then switch to the latest systems. It is always a good idea to verify version compatibility before performing the conversion, as the older NSF formats might be different in terms of their ​‍​‌‍​‍‌structure.
