Vidalista CT 20 mg itself is a generic erectile‑dysfunction medication, not an original branded drug like Cialis. It contains Tadalafil (the same active ingredient originally developed for Cialis) and is manufactured and marketed by an Indian pharmaceutical company called Centurion Laboratories Pvt. Ltd., which produces and sells Vidalista and its variants including the chewable Vidalista CT 20 tablets. Because Vidalista CT 20 is a generic formulation, it wasn’t first used commercially by a major global brand in the way that Cialis was; rather, it was introduced by Centurion Laboratories as a more affordable Tadalafil product for global markets after the original Cialis patent expired. The original compound Tadalafil was developed and first commercialized as the branded drug Cialis by ICOS Corporation and later by Lilly ICOS (a joint venture of ICOS and Eli Lilly), with its FDA approval coming in the early 2000s — long before generic versions like Vidalista entered the market.
