Tadact 20 mg is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It contains Tadalafil as the active ingredient, which is in the same class of drugs as Sildenafil (Viagra) and Vardenafil (Levitra). Tadalafil is known for its long-lasting effects, which is why it is often marketed as a "weekend pill." How Tadact 20 mg Works: Tadalafil works by inhibiting the enzyme PDE5 (phosphodiesterase type 5), which normally causes blood vessels in the penis to constrict. By blocking this enzyme, Tadact allows the blood vessels in the penis to relax and dilate, thereby increasing blood flow during sexual arousal. This helps men with erectile dysfunction to achieve and maintain an erection sufficient for sexual activity. Indications for Use: Erectile Dysfunction (ED): Tadact 20 mg is primarily prescribed to men who have difficulty achieving or maintaining an erection suitable for sexual intercourse. Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH): Tadalafil is also sometimes used to treat symptoms of BPH, such as frequent urination or difficulty urinating. In this case, it is usually prescribed at a lower dose, but the 20 mg dose can also help with these symptoms in some cases. Dosage: Tadact 20 mg is usually taken once daily, approximately 30 minutes before sexual activity. The effects of Tadalafil can last up to 36 hours, so it has a long window of effectiveness compared to other ED medications. It’s important to follow the prescribed dosage and not exceed one tablet per day.
